Panther Athletics Finish With 3.3 GPA
For the third academic year in a row, the Palm Beach State College athletic teams have combined for a GPA over 3.0. For the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters, the department had a 3.31 overall GPA.
The strong performance in the classroom from the Panther student-athletes matches their performances in their respective sports as 6 teams finished with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Indoor volleyball got the athletic season started with a 3.53 GPA.
Women's basketball continued their Region 8 dominance, winning their 4th straight Region 8 Championship. They followed up that on-court performance with a 3.62 GPA.
Baseball finished third at the FCSAA/Region 8 Tournament and finished with a 3.09 team GPA.
Women's golf, who finished 8th at the NJCAA DI National Championship, had a 3.46 GPA.
Men's golf, in their first year as a sponsored sport in over 40 years, also finished 8th at the NJCAA DI National Championship and had a 3.07 GPA.
Beach volleyball, won their 4th straight NJCAA Beach Volleyball National Championship, paced the athletic department with a 3.69 GPA.
Overall, 51 student-athletes have earned FCSAA All-Academic Team.
