Beach VB Wraps Up Regular Season as Undefeated Conference Champs
Continuing what has been a very successful season for women's sports, the Palm Beach State College Beach Volleyball team finished up their regular season schedule as undefeated conference champions. The Panthers finished 6-0, losing only 2 sets the whole conference schedule. Overall, the Panthers are 14-4, with their 4 losses coming to 4-year schools (Palm Beach Atlantic University, Webber University, St. Leo University, and Stevenson University.)
All of the team success has led to the Lady Panthers having all 4 pairs that have played enough sets together being ranked no lower than 4th by Collegebeachvb. Pair 1 of Angelina Botolino and Lola Vidamour are currently 8-1 vs NJCAA schools and are ranked 4th in the nation. Pair 2 of Allison Bryant and Ana Paula Fallas Cruz are ranked #1 with a 9-0 record. Pair 3 of Mady Koons and Nina Vallesi are also ranked #1 with a 7-0 record while not losing a set to NJCAA opponents. Pair 4 of Rita Gonzalez-Cuevas Campos and Dena Otte, the only pair consisting of indoor players, are ranked 3rd with a 6-1 record.
The Lady Panthers kick off the NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA 2023 Beach Volleyball Championships taking on SCF-Manatee. The Panthers are 3-0 vs SCF-Manatee, only losing 1 out of the possible 15 matchups.
