Fallas Cruz Named Beach Volleyball Scholar-Athlete
The accolades keep on coming for 2x National Champion and All-American Ana Paula Fallas Cruz, as she was named the FCSAA Beach Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Ana Paula has a 3.95 GPA as she helped led the Lady Panthers to back-to-back Beach Volleyball National Championships. She is also active in the community working with the West Palm Beach Police department various public service events and community outreach programs. Ana Paula will be returning to Lake Worth this fall as she competes in her 2nd season of indoor volleyball while finishing up her AA degree in the Fall with hopes of starting her bachelor's degree in the Spring 2025 term.
Said Director of Athletics John Scarpino: "I can attest firsthand what an outstanding individual Ana is both on and off the court. She competed with an energy and passion that was infectious, consistently pushing herself and her teammates to achieve excellence. You would expect no less from a two-time First-team All American and winner of back-to-back National Championships."
