Palm Beach State's Baseball team enters the 2023 Season with big dreams. Those dreams started to become a reality on Saturday as the Panthers beat Hillsborough 3-1.
Fernando Vila drove in 2 runs while Brandyn Gonzalez drove in the other run for the Panthers. Aleksei Goldhill went 2-3 scoring 2 of the Panther runs. Skyler Schulz was 3-4 from the plate and scored the other run.
Michael Fortes got the start and went 4 innings for the win, allowing 3 hits and striking out 3. Freshmen Tyler Williams got the save in his 1st appearance for the Panthers, finishing the final 3 innings and striking out 3.
