Men's Basketball Places 4 on All FCSAA/Region 8 Team

Coming off a 20-10 regular season and a 9-3 Sun-Lakes Conference record, the Panthers Men's Basketball team had 4 earn All FCSAA/Region 8 Team.

Leading the way was sophomore Syris Williams, who started all 29 games he played in. Syris led the team averaging 13.4 points per game, shooting 46% from the floor and 45% from 3, while also dishing out 4 assists and grabbing 5 rebounds a game.

Freshman Jovan Palavra, who started all 30 games this season, averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds per game.

Sophomore DeMeiko Anderson, Jr. averaged 9 points off the bench for the Panthers.

Carter Mungin, a freshman, started the last 4 games of the season. For the season, he averaged just over 10 points and 4 rebounds per game.

The Panthers are the #2 seed in the FCSAA/Region 8 Tournament. They tip-off against #3 Florida Gateway on Friday February 28th at 6:30pm. Winner advances to the Championship game Saturday March 1st at 3pm. Follow all the action here.
