Men's Golf Finishes 4th in Seahawk Shootout
The Palm Beach State Men's Golf Team earned a fourth place finish in their first tournament.
Talan Wilkes of Jupiter led the team with a three under par, 216 total, and captured fourth place honors.
Coach Philo shared his pride in the team's performance and believes they have the talent to compete for the National Championship come next May.
This marks the first time Palm Beach State has fielded a men's golf team in over forty years when names like Jesper Parnevic, Ken Green and Palm Beach Resident David Ladd played for the Panthers.
The Seahawk Shoot-out was hosted by Keiser University and was held at PGA National- Champions Course.
Eastern Florida took the top spot, followed by Ave Maria and Keiser.
