Men's Golf Wins The Battle At Black Diamond
Building off a 4th place finish in their 1st event of the 25-26 season, the Palm Beach State College Men's Golf team won their 2nd event. The Panthers finished 8-under par at The Battle at Black Diamond, hosted by New College of Florida.
It was a dominating performance for the Panthers, who had 3 of the top 6 individual finishers. Nathan Wong (pictured) led the way, finishing 3rd at 4-under par. Wong got the first eagle of his college career on hole 14 in the 1st round. Peter Le Gassick finished 3-under par and finishing 4th, with Gavin Duffy finishing 6th at 1-under par. Rounding out the team score was Armando Garcia, who shot 4-over par which was good enough for 18th. The Panthers are back on the course in Kentucky when they host the Panthers Invitational October 6-7.
