In a highly-contested match on Friday evening, Palm Beach volleyball won in 5 sets to claim their 8th conference victory.
PBSC went up 2 games to 1 before nearly dropping the 4th set 27-25. that did not matter, as the girls took care of business in the 5th and deciding set, claiming the 5th set 15-13.
The starters were largely productive, combining for most of PBSC's scoring on the evening. Rita Gonzalez Cuevas Campos had perhaps her best game as a Panther, putting away 11 kills. Dena Otte and Hailey Hart tied for the team-lead in points while Otte just pulled ahead of Hart in kills.
Angelina Botolino played a phenomenal game in the middle, blocking a total of 5 shots and tallying 9 kills.
Defensively, the Panthers received contributions from nearly everyone on the roster. 12 players registered at least 1 DIG and 4 players (nearly 5) recorded 10+ DIGS. Darlenis Medina once again led the team with 29 total DIGS.
PBSC once again started the game with 2 setters on the court. Natalie Faulkner paved the way with 43 assists and was active defensively with 12 DIGS.
